Not actually that low. About 28psi most of the time. I think I had a slow leak going then, but no less than around 20.

About an hour west of Williams Lake. That shot of Sterl's is in roughly the same place (just down the river a bit), but it's not near Bella Coola. It's a mistake on the part of Bike. Bella Coola is about 4 hours from there, although the road you take to get to Bella Coola is nearby.

Different thing altogether. I ride with Darnell from time to time, I know what he's like.
Sick and Nasty is almost vertical. Call it 75-80 degrees. You sneak in at the top and effectively freefall. There's a big compression and a natural floater at the bottom. It's about 40 feet high, but the really steep part is maybe half that. The pic is a composite of two diff. pics. It doesn't show how steep it really is. It's just a straightforward drop in at the end of the day. I've never been to NC, so I can't say for sure, but based on the way DD is sliding, it's pretty gnarly. BUt he's able to control his speed even with how rough it is. Not the same thing. More of a gamble than Sick and Nasty. Doesn't look as fun either. |
